John Ward is a national award winning artist residing in eastern Kentucky.  He combines his love of nature with his talent for painting to create vivid, realistic scenes.  John is a self-taught artist who paints using a variety of mediums including watercolor, gouache, oils and pencils John has created commissioned artwork for magazines, corporations and individuals and has limited edition prints which have been distributed through galleries and catalogs.  John is a juried member of the Kentucky Guild of Artists and Craftsmen as well as Oil Painters of America.  He has won numerous state and national art contests.  John’s work has been juried and exhibited in galleries all over the United States as well as gracing numerous covers of catalogs and magazines.
